Veterinary Assistant
Dallene joined Aurora Animal Care Center in 2011. She graduated from Ohio University in 2018 with a bachelors of Science in Environmental Science. Her niche at the clinic includes inventory management, microbiology, and specialty testing. Dallene enjoys identifying ticks at work and when possible sending them out to aid in research programs for the State of Ohio. She is a huge advocate for protecting your pets with appropriate flea and tick preventives.
Outside of work, Dallene has her husband who which she shares her young son. Their four legged family members include three rescue cats named fluffy, Itty Bitty Nitty Gritty Kitty, and Charlie. Her hobbies include beekeeping, walks with her family, and baking home goods. Dallene is Fear Free Certified.
