Dallene is a recent graduate of Ohio University with a B.S. in Environmental Biology. She started working here when she was 16 years old as a kennel assistant and is currently working as a veterinarian assistant. Her interests include visiting national parks, collecting, identifying and preserving insects especially ecto-parasites. She has 2 rescue cats (Fluffy and Little Kitten) and a cockatiel bird named Pretty Bird. She is also a local beekeeper and encourages everyone to promote and protect honeybees from neonicotinoids, deforestation, colony collapse disorder (CCD) and climate change.
