Dr. Ellen Imhof received her DVM degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983. She began practicing at the Aurora Veterinary Clinic directly after graduation and purchased the practice in 1997. She then began transitioning her interests from small animal/equine to strictly small animal. She opened a second practice, the Mantua Veterinary Clinic, and also has two boarding facilities, the Aurora Kennel for dogs and cats, and the Cat Nap Inn, a cats only boarding facility.
She is a member of the AVMA, OVMA, GCVMA, CAVM and serve as a member of the Pet Animal Committee of the OVMA.
Dr. Imhof and husband Tim Matlock (DVM 1978) have two children, one is in graduate school and the other is attending The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has three cats and one dog- a lab/corgi mix (a cardigan retriever!).
Her interests include reading, hiking, camping and walking. She has also participated in the Breast Cancer 3-Day and Alzheimer walks.
