Leiloni grew up in Southern California and pursued her passion for animals by earning a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Brigham Young University-Idaho (BYU-I). After graduation, she moved with her family to Provo, Utah, and gained valuable experience working at a small animal general practice. It was during this time that she met her husband.
Leiloni's academic journey continued at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts. After completing her first year, she returned to Utah to marry her husband. Together, they adopted Biscuit, a Cane Corso with epilepsy, which deepened Leiloni's interest in veterinary neurology.
Her professional interests are diverse and include equine practice, small animal emergency and surgery, cardiology, and neurology. Leiloni is currently completing her clinical year at Michigan State University, where she continues to expand her knowledge and refine her expertise. We are excited to have her join us for one of her veterinary externships!
Leiloni is eager to discover where her skills can make the most impact in veterinary medicine, and she looks forward to contributing to the field through her dedication and passion.
