Practice Policies To Be Aware Of:
- Full payment is due at time of service. Click to see our Payment Options for additional information.
- Due to legal restrictions, once medications leave the building, they cannot be returned.
- Individuals accompanying pets must adhere to our Mutual Respect Agreement:
I understand that Aurora Animal Care Community is a healing environment, and respectful communication and collaboration between our team members and you, our client, is essential to provide optimal patient care. I understand that just as I would expect empathy, patience, honesty, and kindness from the team at AACC, our team is deserving of the same.
There is ZERO TOLERANCE for all forms of aggression and disruptive behavior both verbal and physical. Such behavior will result in termination of the veterinary-client-patient relationship.
-
Rabies vaccines are required for every pet that is handled in our practice. Health considerations are reviewed yearly by an examining veterinarian.
-
Long term medication use requires monitoring blood work every 6 months. The frequency may increase based on an individual's medical needs. This policy allows us to maintain the highest standards of care for our patients.
-
Annual heartworm testing of dogs is required for dispensing heartworm medication. Retesting is required if there are lapses in heartworm prevention administration to your pet. We follow the standard of care as established by the American Heartworm Society's Guidelines.

Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet, see their records at each location, as well as see previous treatments, prescriptions, vaccinations, and exam forms. Please share any preferences or limitations. Our Client Service Team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
