KZWhat To Do Prior To Your Pet's Appointment:

  1. Fill out our New Client Registration Form. We need to have up-to-date information along with accurate ways to contact you. We primarily communicate with clients via phone call, texting, and email.

  New Client Registration Form

  1. We need your pet's prior records. Review of previous records is vital to the care we can provide at your first visit. The best way to get this information to us is to email them to [email protected] OR you can bring in the hard copies at least 48 hours before your appointment so we can scan them in to your pet's medical record. If necessary, you can give our staff permission to contact a previous provider to obtain records. When we don't know your pet's history, it can delay the appointment and care that can be provided. If your pet does not have a previous medical history, that is okay! We can start from scratch with updating vaccines and blood work if necessary to get them on the right track.
  2. Download our client friendly app. Using the email you gave us, you can create an account and all of your pet's information will be synced. There can be a 24 hour delay from when you first register as a new client. This app allows you to access your pet's medical record, see what things are coming due, request appointments or prescriptions, and also set reminders for yourself regarding your pet's medications.

What To Bring To The Appointment:

  1. alex sammyToys or enrichment activity to make your pet more comfortable! This gives your pet a sense of home and allows them to use their energy or nervousness, redirecting it in a positive way. We love playing with your pets! Bringing their favorite toys or enrichment activity can make them more comfortable during their visit and promote a positive association with being here. Cats Alex and Sammy are seen here watching their favorite TV show in the exam room before their visit!
  2. A leather or cloth leash, not an extendable one! This goes for both dogs and cats. Extendable leashes are very dangerous especially in a small area with many other pets around. They do not allow you or our staff members to control your pet and navigate the clinic safely. cats
  3. A cat carrier must be used for cats who are not leash or harness trained OR those with severe anxiety. We do not allow laundry baskets, cardboard boxes etc as they are not a safe alternative. We are not willing to risk the safety of your cat as they can get loose in your car, outside, or in the clinic.
  4. Special treats for pets. We have Churu treats and spray cheese for cats. Miscellaneous hard and soft treats including hypoallergenic treats, and spray cheese are available for dogs. If your pet has a specific dietary restriction please let us know as soon as you walk in the door. We tend to be heavy handed on the treats even in the lobby. Sometimes staff needs reminding of food restrictions as we want to be the treating people not the poking people. We try our best to check notes on the account but your helpful reminders will be greatly appreciated. You're invited to bring special food treats if you feel the above options will not be enough for your pet or meet their dietary needs. If you or any family member has a food sensitivity or other medical concern please disclose this information for your safety.
  5. A positive mindset.  Pets are perceptive of the mood in the room. This includes when their family members are anxious. Please openly share your concerns so our team can make this a great appointment for you and your pet. Positivity goes a long way. They will be looking to you to help interpret their experience with us!
